12. Miles and loyalty status programme

101. What is the Fly2Galicia Miles Programme?

The Fly2Galicia Miles Programme is our loyalty programme, designed to reward our frequent passengers. Every time you fly with Fly2Galicia, you can earn miles that can later be redeemed for flights.

Miles are calculated for each flight sector flown:

  • Domestic flights: 500 miles per sector.
  • All other international flights: 750 miles per sector.
  • Munich, Prague and Venice: 1,000 miles per sector.

For example, a return trip on a domestic route earns 1,000 miles.

Miles will be added automatically to your Fly2Galicia account once you have completed the flight. Miles are only earned for sectors actually flown.

The number of miles required depends on the destination:

  • Domestic flight: 5,000 miles per sector.
  • Standard international flight: 7,500 miles per sector.
  • Munich, Prague or Venice: 10,000 miles per sector.

The amounts shown apply to a one-way flight.

Miles cover the fare applicable to the reward flight. Taxes, airport charges and any other applicable fees must be paid separately during the booking process.

Yes. You do not need to book a return journey. You can use your miles for either the outbound or return flight only. For example, you can book the outbound flight using 5,000 miles and purchase the return flight normally.

Flights booked with miles are subject to availability. Fly2Galicia may allocate a specific number of seats for mileage redemption on each flight, so the availability of seats for regular purchase does not necessarily guarantee availability for booking with miles.

Not at the moment. To obtain a reward flight, you must have the full number of miles required for the selected sector. Taxes, airport charges and any other applicable fees must always be paid in money.

For the time being, Fly2Galicia miles can only be used to redeem flights. Additional services such as checked baggage, seat selection, priority boarding or other extras must be purchased separately.

Yes. You may use the miles available in your account to issue a reward flight in another person's name, subject to availability on the selected flight. Once the ticket has been issued, the passenger must comply with the same identification and travel requirements applicable to any other booking.

No. Tickets obtained entirely through mileage redemption do not earn additional miles.

No. They are two separate elements of the Fly2Galicia loyalty programme. Miles are earned to redeem reward flights. Blue, Silver, Gold or Platinum status is determined by the number of flight sectors you have completed. Redeeming your miles does not affect the sectors counted towards your status.

Status levels are determined by the number of flight sectors completed by each passenger per year:

  • Blue: 0 to 12 sectors.
  • Silver: 13 to 24 sectors.
  • Gold: 25 to 36 sectors.
  • Platinum: 37 or more sectors.

One sector means one individual flight. For example, Santiago–Alicante–Santiago counts as two sectors.

The conditions for changes, cancellations and any refund of miles will depend on the conditions applicable to the reward ticket at the time of booking. Any amounts paid for taxes, airport charges or additional services will also be subject to the applicable refund conditions.

Yes. Fly2Galicia miles are valid for 24 months from the date on which they are earned. Each mileage accrual has its own expiry date. Miles that have not been used within this period will automatically expire.

When you reach Silver status, you automatically receive the benefits of our Plus fare at no additional cost, without having to pay the usual €25 supplement.

  • Priority boarding.
  • Guaranteed cabin baggage on board, subject to Fly2Galicia's size and weight conditions.
  • Free seat selection in the rear section of the aircraft, within the seating areas available for this benefit.

Gold members automatically receive the benefits of our Platinum fare at no additional cost, without having to pay the usual €50 supplement associated with this fare.

Platinum is the highest level of our loyalty programme and includes all benefits of the Platinum fare, plus exclusive benefits reserved for our most frequent passengers:

  • All benefits included in the Platinum fare.
  • Complimentary lounge access at airports where Fly2Galicia offers this service.
  • 4 Business Class upgrade benefits per Platinum membership year, each valid for up to 2 passengers travelling together on the same booking, subject to availability.

Platinum members receive 4 Business Class upgrade opportunities during each Platinum membership year. Each benefit may be used for the Platinum member and one companion, provided both passengers travel on the same booking and on the same flight. Upgrades are subject to Business Class seat availability.

No. Platinum upgrade benefits are linked to the account holder. To use an upgrade for two passengers, the Platinum member must be included in the booking and travel on the flight.

No. Business Class upgrades are benefits granted for each Platinum membership period and must be used during that period. Unused upgrades cannot be carried over to the following year.

Complimentary lounge access for Platinum members is available at airports where Fly2Galicia has arranged or enabled this service. Lounge availability and access conditions may vary depending on the airport.

No. Miles and loyalty status operate independently. For example, moving from Gold to Silver does not remove the miles you have accumulated. They remain available until they are used or until 24 months have passed from the date they were earned.

No. Using your miles to obtain a flight does not affect your status. Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels are calculated exclusively according to the number of sectors flown, while miles are a separate balance that can be used to redeem reward flights.
